This non-alcoholic Negroni variation is herbal, bittersweet, tangy, briny, and savory. Deeply flavored and complex, this cocktail features two of our favorite spirits from the UK—Pentire Adrift and Wilfred's Aperitif—a pinch of Maldon salt, blackcurrant syrup, and our Orange and Aromatic bitters.

One sip and you'll swear you're on the Cornish Coast, feet in the sand, the spray of the ocean on your face.

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces Pentire Adrift
1 1/2 ounces Wilfred's Aperitif
1/2 ounce non-alcoholic sweet vermouth
1/2 ounce blackcurrant syrup (see note below)
2 dashes All The Bitter Orange bitters
2 dashes All The Bitter Aromatic bitters
Pinch of Maldon salt
Rosemary and orange peel garnish

Directions

Combine Pentire, Wilfred's, vermouth, blackcurrant syrup, bitters, and a pinch of salt in a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass with one big ice cube.
Garnish with a rosemary sprig and an orange peel, expressing the oils over the top of the drink.

Recipe Note

Blackcurrant, or cassis, syrup can be found through producers like Monin and Torani. Regular table salt can be used in place of Maldon in a pinch (see what we did there?).

MAKE IT MINDFULLY LOW ALCOHOL
Pentire and Wilfred's really define this cocktail, so don't touch those. But feel free to use regular sweet vermouth in place of the non-alcoholic vermouth for a very low-alcohol libation.
