This is great in ginger bee and ginger ale in summer. It rounds out my morning coffee, especially in this rainy season. So mellow. And drizzled over vanilla ice cream any time!
Coffee (or Chai) + cream of your choice (I suggest a non-flavored option) + 5 (or 10 if you're wild) dashes of Fig & Walnut bitters. Now, your morning is off to a much better start than whatever you were doing before this magic entered your life. Anything that could make coffee better should be wrapped in gold and placed in the Smithsonian. This is that thing. This is that good! And, if you're into some experimental stuff, roast a marshmallow and hit it with a few drops of Fig & Walnut, then smash that between a graham cracker, along with your darkest dark chocolate. Yep.
Great bitter to add to many drinks
Nice rich fruit, nut sweetness with a slight bitter finish. Love it!
I love figs and grew up with walnut trees in the back yard. Ingredients are very important to me and these happen to come with a great punch of flavor. While it’s very difficult to pick a favorite “all the bitter” this one is now in the top two. (That orange is also a house favorite!)
This is exceptional, and I hope the Fig and Black Walnut bitters return!
My taste buds tingled at this fig and black walnut combination and brought back childhood memories of a black walnut cake my grandmother made.
Fig and Black Walnut Bitters
These bitters are delicious! My husband has used them in his alcohol based drinks as well as me using them in AF drinks. They are rich in flavor and add so much depth to our drinks!
What can I say except wow! Y'all knocked it out of the park with this one. The flavors are blended so well that each moment another one grabs my attention. The Black Walnut is an inspired ingredient and the sweetness of the fig is balanced and not overly sweet. I have been putting this in everything from espresso to Ghia and soda and absolutely sang wherever it went!
